Indianola School District Appreciates Civil Discourse in Library Discussion

The Indianola School Board received public comment at their meeting Tuesday regarding the proposed ‘rating’ system for the school libraries content. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News both sides of the issue have had times at meetings where they have spoken, and he appreciates the fact that despite disagreements on how to handle the issue, Indianola residents have had a good discourse and addressed the board and administration with respect.
‘I would say I really appreciated the civility of the people who commented on both sides.
